A Redesign for Nike US Sports Camps
Making it easier to find, enroll & manage camps
Client: Nike US Sports Camps - the largest youth sports camp network in the U.S.
Role: UX & UI Designer (with strategic input)

The Challenge
Nike US Sports Camps needed a more streamlined way for parents to find and enroll their children in thousands of nationwide sports camps. The previous experience was long, confusing, and filled with required fields that slowed things down. Our job was to simplify booking, modernize checkout, and boost conversions - all while respecting Nike’s strict branding guidelines.

What I Did
I worked across UX and UI, helping define the new booking flow and reimagining the checkout experience from the ground up. My team also pitched and implemented a new Camp Options feature - offering Nike-branded gear add-ons (like shin pads or soccer balls) during enrollment to enhance both the experience and revenue.

Key Outcomes
The redesign led to a significant reduction in cart abandonment and a measurable increase in revenue thanks to effective upselling during checkout. The streamlined flow made signing up smoother for busy parents and helped drive business value at the same time.
Reflection
This project really helped me fine-tune the art of designing complex checkout experiences. By simplifying the number of required fields and making the process more intuitive, we helped remove key points of friction - likely a major factor in resolving the original abandonment problem.
